PXB Board Replacement Service
The Pool Extraction Boards (PXB) is a Class 1 Medical Device with an expected life span of 10 years*.
Ferno UK recognises that for Pool Extraction Boards (PXB) that are 5-years of age, after the initial purchase, may require the velcro to be replaced as this can start to peel or bubble due to the environment the product is used and stored within.
*The manufacturer guidance is dependent upon usage, general wear and tear, the humidity conditions of where the boards are stored, chemicals they come in to contact with etc. It is the responsibility of the operator to ensure that they carry out checks on the board to determine the condition.
Ferno UK has withdrawn the PXB Board Velcro Replacement Service and have introduced a Board Replacement Service instead.
Replacement Board Service
Price £400.00 (Ex VAT)
Based on delivery to an address within Mainland GB (England, Scotland & Wales)*
The replacement board will include only the Velcro attached for the head blocks, along with an instruction guide for sites to transfer parts from their existing boards to the new one. The parts to be transferred include the Anchor Mat, Straps, Neoprene Back Pad, Headblocks, and Restraint.
Each replacement board is brand new, with an expected lifespan of 10 years and includes a 2-year manufacturer's warranty - please note that the Velcro carries a 1-year warranty.
